Default 66. 2bb carburetor

can get a stock 389 2bbl carburetor from a 2bbl 389 engine...my big QUESTION is ist the same as 66 tripower center carb....?

Not sure, but the correct# on the float bowl for a 66 center carb is 7031575

It is not the same, but can be made work the same.

If from a 66 & has divorced choke It will work .

Yes, if it has a divorced choke, it will work. While you're looking, ty to find one with larger venturi diameter than the 575 "correct" carb.

If you're considering switching to an electric choke, the big car version with the choke mechanism on the throttle body will work fine.
