Time Honored 65
There's something that draws me to cars like this. Maybe it's the long story the GTO could tell. The car looks honest even if hurting from use and time.

It's an acquired taste, I like old houses too.

Old, Patina, Original is my choice
This Tiger Gold ‘65 GTO convertible looks decent from the Birds Eye.
But, it has major rust issues throughout. Big project. Neat car, Special paint, Convertible, Air Condition, PS, Power Antenna, etc.

I'd be content to make it safe, reliable and drive as is. Unusual having a/c in a convertible, I haven't seen that combination many times especially in the early cars.

Built right at the very end of 65 production too.
Can't recall seeing any body build dates later than 07B , so far. Very cool car that probably drew 1000's of admirable gazes for a long time... in its younger days. She just needs a new boob job and some make up |

I like this GTO, regardless of the major rust.
Cool rare convertible with AC. You can see the heel pad from underneath. Fred Flintstone car. Throw a piece of plywood under that carpet and drive. Tiger Gold showing on the jams. Vincel St. Louis plate. This late 07B ‘65 is the latest I have on file. PS, There is a Red ‘64 convertible next to this ‘65.
