Might pull the axles & measure the diam of the axle bearings...

Rear is a '68-70 Type "O" Olds, & from look of the bottom of the shock mount brackets, originally from a VistaCruiser or flat top Cutlass wagon.

Thanks oph. I've tried several times to ID this axle but the stamping may be wrong. It's clearly 'T1' or 'TI' but l've never been able to find that axle code anywhere for the 'O' type rear. I'll measure a bearing later today if l get to it.

8 pontiac 455 rods, factory bolts with .030 L2359 trw forged pistons. I think that part number is forged. They are free. If no interest gonna toss them. Once I saw the bearing wear on this engine the while I’m here thing took over and all I re used is the crank. Go figure.

I started this thread almost 16 years ago. That’s nuts.

I got this with the distributor I gutted to make a cam sync. Don't know if it works. If you know a method to test it, I can probably do that. Yours for shipping cost. CONUS only, I'm not dealing with international shipping to donate something... OR, I'm in the Houston area if you're local you can pick it up.

I've still got a complete 350 2-barrel engine free for the taking. I believe it's a '72. I drove it a few thousand miles with no problems. It's been in my barn for almost 20 years, but has been all together and still turns free. Has a standard-shift bellhousing and clutch/flywheel on it. Accessories (pulleys, alternator, etc.) are really ugly with surface rust and crud.
