67 GTO rear tail lights query?
Does the new tail light gaskets need RTV sealant on the side facing out to keep leakage to a minimum?
The material seems like it would eventually become flaky (for want of a better term) and let water enter. My current lights were clear RTV'd when the car was last painted, and probably have to be cut away from the rear panel. |

I did not use any sealant on mine with the new gaskets...no leaks.
