Default 77 Firebird rotisserie mounting

I’m about to put the body of my 77 TransAm on the rotisserie and wanted to know what the best pivot point reference would be for the Firebird. I’m looking for the best reference to position the body to the pivot axis on the rotisserie so it rotates freely. Thanks for any advice or recommendation.

Here are two F bodies that we had mounted at different times. Regardless of where your attaching points are on the car (do not have to be same height), you want to keep your front and rear pivots at matching heights.

Raise it high enough to clear the lower bar.

My settup is close to Big Bear's. Only I added a long ram jack at each post to make moving the body up and down easy.

Use a flat plate on back where bumper bolts if thats all good, if not, fix it first so you can use it. . Use a mid point in front about half way up the firewall.
The Actual center for rotation is about where your trunk lock is in rear and at the transmission tunnel top edge on firewall in the front.
It can spin doing it a little lower, but as has been said by BIG BEAR, gotta miss the lower bar..
