Default Seeking any photos or info about Paul Burk Pontiac in Waterloo, IA.

Hopefully someone can help me here. Seeking any photos or info about Paul Burk Pontiac in Waterloo, IA. I believe the dealership has been defunct(or bought out?) for many years. I would just like to get a little info about it since that is where my Firebird was ordered in 1973.
Thanks

Thanks!

That would be inline with it being in correct alphabetical order.
So, it was probably around in the earlier years. (IMO)

There was another Waterloo dealer. It had a car from 1969 delivered there.
So it was around back then. (so 2 dealers, IMO)

Based on a old thread I found, I wonder if it may have actually been the same dealer with different owners. If I understand correctly this was already a Pontiac dealer when it was acquired by Paul Burk in 1971.

Apparently it was Feldman before it became Paul Burk.

Thanks for the link.

I'll update my dealer list.

Would think there would be some IA people here that would be able to help you in your search.

Would love it if somebody had a newspaper ad from this dealership that they could scan. It would be even cooler if the ad was from '73 since my bird is '73.

I found Paul Burk's obit, he died in Arizona in 2002, owned the dealership in Waterloo "for more than 30 years". As indicated in the earlier thread, was Feldman's Pontiac prior to '71 and Feldman & Evans Pontiac until about '66.

Doing the math, he might have owned the dealership right up to his death or else he didn't own it quite as long as the obit said.

I don't know where the dealership was located while Burk owned it, Feldman's was at 800 Commercial St., I think was still located there when Paul Burk bought the biz, looks like the building still exists.

Overhead Door Co. occupies the building now. It's a longshot but maybe somebody there knows what became of the Pontiac dealership there, perhaps still operating as a GM dealer somewhere in Waterloo.

Archive pages from the Waterloo Daily Courier newspaper are available online from a couple sources: https://www.newspapers.com and https://newspaperarchive.com I did a search on both sites for 'Paul Burk' and got a bunch of hits, and you can narrow the search down by year, but you have to sign in to actually see the newspaper pages. It appears they have free trials.
