Default TA Nationals Cancelled

From the FB page:

June 7, 2020

It is with great disappointment that I must inform everyone that the 36th annual Trans Am Nationals is being postponed to August 27 – 29, 2021. You all know the reason… the uncertainty surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic. After discussing many of the issues on whether to proceed with our show or not for this year, the board decided to take this action. This decision did not come easy. I’m sure many of you feel that with a few changes we could go on with the show. This is simply not the case. There would need to be major changes that would create havoc to our operations. Not to mention, we still do not know what the state and local regulations will be in August. We are making this decision now, because we needed to get orders placed with our vendors to ensure delivery in time for the show. Being a national show, and having people coming in from all over America, Canada and even Australia, we determined that the health and welfare of our participants, vendors, workers and visitors is of upmost importance.

Registration fees that have already been paid can be applied to the show in 2021 or refunded. We will contact participants via social media, e-mail or phone. Holiday Inn reservations will be automatically applied to 2021. Contact the Holiday Inn directly to let them know if you want a refund instead. If not at the Holiday Inn, contact your hotel to see how they will handle.

Again, we are sorry to report this postponement, but truly feel this is in the best interest of all concerned.

President, Trans Am Club of America,

Dayton Chapter, Inc.
