Default POCI - GTOAA

Is the POCI the same as the GTOAA when it comes to it being a national show and being judged for gold, silver or bronze? Is the only difference is that the POCI has more than just GTOs at the show?

Yep! Usually the GTOAA is a little stricter on their judging standards. But yes, Bronze, Silver, & Gold. I think POCI has a higher award based on obtaining a certain level at different National shows.

Is this considered a regional show or a national show?

The GTOAA Convention at Wisconsin Dells July 5, 2021 is a national convention. I've had my '64 GTO's judged by both POCI and GTOAA. In my case, GTOAA did a stricter examination of my car. Both organizations did a very fair evaluation.

Remember, GTOAA does not only have classes for GTO's at their conventions. Depending on how many other Pontiac models are registered for the event, they create classes and award trophies, according to popular vote.
