I have these 2 but don't remember the year/years. The 1 with the messed up pin head says AC Made in USA 12V. The other just has a 40 on 1 of the flats.

Bob, thank you for responding. The senders you have pictured are for cars with gauges. I'm not that lucky, my GTO's have the standard equipped warning lights.

Ladytata, I don't have a part number but it's a single terminal sender. I'll try and find a part number.

I'm looking for a single terminal sender. It has a blank side next to the single functional terminal. There's a molded in G and an R on top.

What you have is a 1971 sender. I'm still searching for the correct 1965 number. Thank you for helping.

My '67 GTO also had a temperature sender with the same terminal and insulator shapes like the one in you photo. An AIRTEX 1T1059 matched it perfectly. Check if you have a "50" stamped on the underside.

My '67 also calls for the same switch and when I went to replace it with an NOS unit, I discovered that the number 1993581 shown in the MPC was not the same having two terminals instead of one. I later figured out that the correct switch was 1993582 for the single terminal type like installed at the factory.

Here's both styles currently on eBay... 1993581 / 1993582

The '67 Assy Manual indicates 1993582 is the original part number for V8 engines, however, the engine drawing shows the temp sender has two tabs!
FYI, This sender is a 248°F version according to the 61-62 MPC.
