Default experience with black widow mufflers? impressions.

looking to upgrade the exhaust on my '67 GTO and i'm considering the black widow line of mufflers - i guess the venom 250 specifically. i've heard a number of vids online and i love the sound. just wondering if someone here has firsthand accounts of them.

What size pipes are you running? I have full 3" system with Goerlich 3"x18" mufflers. Very little drone and sound great. Little if no restriction.

Not using them but a couple Observations when I looked at them awhile back:

Interesting they don't show a cut away of construction, but it appears they are some sort of "hourglass" design?

Also noticed they don't sell an offset/offset which is typically what an abody would use..

And the price....wo

Marketing, sigh.
Funny how some will buy a product like Violator then expect some noise reduction.
I would buy a muffle with a solid reputation. JMO.

honestly, i don't see a comment like that in this short thread at all. i didn't mention wanting [any level of] noise reduction at all and marketing is a relevant aspect of all products that are for sale. thanks for the post, though.

I've heard them on LS engines and they sound good. Been wanting to try them on a Pontiac
