Default Ford tractor ID?

Does anybody know where to find a serial # on a Ford tractor? It's about a 1985 model and we're trying to establish a solid retail value for it to settle an estate.

Phil,

There is a great site (used to be called Tractorbytel). I think it is now tractorbynet. Everything about tractors on there. Very nice and knowledgeable people. Unless you have a grey Mkt. Kubota They should be able to help. Might even sell it there.

The tractor is a Ford 3600 and looks to be a '79 model. It's been in the same family since new, 3 cyl diesel runs well and has been stored in a shed. Does not have a canopy or other attachments.
