I'm buying a new turn signal switch and the two available are differentiated by whether the car has cornering lights or not.
I'll admit that I don't know without having seen a known example of one with cornering lights. (Known to me that is...) Here is a pic of the car I'm buying it for. I'm thinking not...but.... Does she or doesn't she?

I'd have to say "doesn't", usually they are in the front lower (in front of the front tire) portion of the fender and come on when the turn signal is used R or L to light the curb/corner.

Nice bonneville Greg! Your car does not have the cornoring lights, it's not very often you see one with. I have junked 4 or 5 77-79's and still have 6 others and of them I only have one with the cornoring lights.

That's what I was thinking. I couldn't imagine one that had 'less' lights than this on on a '78 model. Thanks for the info guys. That'll save me about 10 bucks.
Racer81x, it's actually my son's daily driver. Turned out to be a nice first car. Been very dependable and the 301 2bbl has been decent on gas mileage.

I have cornering light on my 70 Bonnevile. I had the same decision to make concerning do I buy NOS Turn Signal Lights or NOS TurnSignal Lights with Cornering Lights. On the 70, they are built into the turn signals and not a separate panel. I must say, they are great! They come on when you activate the turn signals and like magic, the illuminate street signs in residential neighborhoods. It is great to see the street signs!

For what it is worth you can always use a turnsignal switch equipped for cornering lights on a car that doesn't have that option. It just has three extra wires that are not used in that situation.
