1st run with the new set up
I have a thread on the other site, never posted it here but just got the car back together. This was the test run only 6psi, ran great but I have to figure out why its running hot.

Yes I hope, thats a 275 drag radial, I sort of like a little spin, I do not want to break the tranny!! That's my weak link right now.

I cant believe you didn't launch it at that red light skulla!! Open up those plugs and put some more timing in it and show us another video!! Looking look like you MIGHT be able to hang with the 4 banger...! lol!

The only way you're taken the crown is if you turn that thing up to at least 15 psi.
So what are you waiting for ?? I'll be out in a week! I'll be on the north side of the Floyd at 2 pm Saturday afternoon I'll see you there. You better turn it up ! LOL..

I need money for better drag radials, Race those ricers I told you about, I'll front the $$ and split the winnings.
 10 psi this week with a little more timing. I'll go pro the progress. I'll let you know when I'm ready for you. Like street outlaws I'll call you out when I'm going up the list.LOL That Chevelle 1st. |

Don't you worry, Slow and steady win the race. Next video will be 8psi and some more timing. Hope the tires hold up. Plugs indicate its running fat so a little timing and boost are safe to add.

Sounds great!! I have been down the stickshift road with my ford (351w s480) after blowing 3rd gear out of my t3550 3 times, she now sports a th400.

It's a tko 600, I do not power shift 3rd anymore. I built the car for fun so the stick stays in for now. I do have a th400 on the side!
More video this weekend, working some bugs out. |

Long ride was fun!
Okay sorry I did not go pro it, but I have proof of a 2 hr ride. Charlie in the photo (Turbo Louie) dragged me out tonight. We drove to a hang out drove back tearing it up the whole way. We both had to limp the cars home!! We both do not know what we broke yet! But it was fun! My car was runnning awesome! (before I broke it!)
I don't think it's anything major, a blown out gasket, can't build boost now.

I was the King last night, Charlie had a few problems but I took the big man down!!! In all fairness, the was not running well and I have 4 more holes.
I lost 2 header bolts close to the turbo, hope they did not strip out. Charlie has a little bit bigger issue that we can't figure out. I took him for a ride in may car before we broke, he loved it, We had a pissa. Fun time! I think he has a wastegate problem. |
