I'm thinking about converting my 76 T/A to a manual trans setup, but I've encountered a few snags:
1) I see that there is still a z-bar available for the 76-80 M-20 and M-24 trans-- What are these and will this z-bar bolt up to a Pontiac motor?
2) Will a z-bar from a 70-79 interchange with any other year 70-79 car (i.e.- will a 70 z-bar fit a 79 and visa versa)?
3) Clutch pedals- can I use a auto brake pedal for the clutch pedal and trim the pad area down?
4) Are there any differences in 70-81 clutch pedals?
Thanks for any help-
