That blue 70 T/A with the Ram Air IV is one sweet ride. When I was 18 the new Firebirds had just come out, and with all those spoilers and ram air hood they were every kids dream, almost like Star Wars was to the next generation of kids. Although I really liked the Z/28 that year for its smaller engine and higher revving engine, I convinced my Dad to go to the dealer for a test drive in the T/A. The salesman drove the 4 speed car out about 3 miles, then said which one of you wants to drive it home? My dad deferred to me ( who had only driven a 4-speed once before ) but I made it back to the dealership in one piece. Great memories, and that is what probably makes us car guys. We did not purchase the T/A, but ended up witha 1971 Z/28 a year later. I always tell the car guys I know to take a kid out for a ride if they get a chance, it is one great way to keep the hobby growing, and an event they will never forget. Now if you would only get those Canadian built cars documented............
