Default Champagne Paint Code C

Have a lead on a 67 GTO that is code C, Champagne. Debating if I want to repaint it this same color.
Can anyone post some good pics of this color if you own a Champagne GTO.
Thanks

You're right. Not many pics. There's only one on the Ultimate GTO picture site... which you may have already seen. I kinda like it... almost Linden Green.

Thanks Greg
Certain cars look silver, beige or gold..Tough to get a good read.
I might just change the color since I plan on doing another frame off resto anyway.

Thumbs up 1967 GOLDS

This old image is a decent rep of this pail gold.
When it's in the bright light it washes out and is hard to decipher.

Such a great color and would be my 2nd choice, Signet would be 1st.

In an odd coincidence, there was a recent post in the "Epic Craigslist Ad of the Day" thread for a local (to me) Craigslist posting for a 67 of this color (S-2). Tried to get a friend of mine to at least go look at it, but he is "car poor" right now and wife threatened divorce if he took on another project, which it definitely was. Ad listed color as "silver", easy to see how that would be chosen, especially for "original paint". Posting has since been deleted.

While not a favorite of mine personally, it does look good in Jeff's pic.

Same color was used on other GM cars - Chevy called it "Sierra Fawn"

Beautiful car, great pics. After seeing that one I wouldn't hesitate to return it to its original color.

Thanks for all the help guys.
Although it’s not my favorite color, I think I owe
It to the car to repaint it the same color for it’s originality.
Not really a bad color. In fact when I was a 16 yr old paper boy this old lady had a 67 Malibu and I always loved the car. Seeing the link to that Malibu instantly brought back a good memory

Black
It’s a bench seat car with 400 turbo column shift
That I can guarantee will be gone and switched to
Console and bucket seats

And of course you will be needing a his and hers shifter!
I think it'll be a beauty myself.

I agree but changing from bench seat to console, his/hers shifter and the 67 1 year only seats is going to cost me some money.
This will be another concours restoration.

Personally, I could live with the bench seat column shift. You can always change it later if you just can't stand everybody telling you that it didn't come that way or hearing the comments "It's a LeMans"...lol
