That is a new one to me also, I agree I like the original Studebaker versions, but the farther they strayed from the original the less interesting they got to me. This one is just odd to my eyes, Interesting but not in a good way.

Two ads for two different Firebirds from the same seller in NY both at $6K BIN OBO. The 68 convertible has new quarters installed and is missing the doors and fenders and prolly a lot more. The 67 hardtop looks more complete, but both are very much project cars. Seller is claiming the 67 has a Ram Air engine, but it looks like a 69 Grand Prix 350HP engine. Both cars have PS/PB which is cool.

68 Firebird convertible white/white with a black top automatic at $32K BIN in CA. Doesn't say whether or not it's an original CA car, but if it is huge plus. This is very reasonably priced IMO.

At least a 1969 400. I like how they show a list of 1967 Firebird engine codes and this (XH) isn't on it? ![]()

74 GTO tribute 4 speed 350 in Arizona at $25K BIN. The 73 and 74 GTO's were born in a bad time for muscle cars and were basically cobbled together models based on other models with appearance options. The 74 looks like a Chevy Nova, which is sort of an odd crossover. Fun fact about a 74 GTO is the shaker had a functioning Ram Air flapper. The Trans AM Ram Air inlet flapper went away in 1973 due to the noise it let out. This is a really nice looking car that you couldn't build for $25K if you started from scratch. The 4 speed with console looks good in a sharp interior. I'm not sure how much of a hit this car takes in being a tribute? FWIW they made just under 5000 GTO's in 74.

Yellow 1970 GTO in CA at $500 NR. Feedback should be looked into. Wheels look like maybe they're Buick/Chevy?

68 Firebird convertible dealer car at $40K in Florida. Nice looking car and much more desirable IMO than the standard over-priced $50K LS1 cars.

73 Trans AM Brewster green dealer car in Nebraska at $80K BIN. I love the 73 green T/A as it's just so different than anything else in 1973. This is a nice car, but IMO it's not worth $80K. It looks stock (cool), but has a Tremec 5 speed transmission (also cool) and a NOM 455. The AC doesn't work and the engine has 6X heads with headers. Again, really nice car, but not $80K nice. Remember back in the day when you'd read how to get the most out of 6X heads? For $80K, I'd rather have Edelbrock heads and factory Ram Air exhaust manifolds, along with AC that works... and factory honeycombs.

68 GTO with a backstory. Stored since 1987 offered by the original owner for $100 with a reserve in Illinois. This car reeks of "it's time to let the GTO go" in the ad.

Interesting... 1980 Pontiac Bonneville "Buford T. Justice" clone at $18K in Texas. I know the Smokey and the Bandit T/A, but not this car. Pics I found on the interweb were a 77 Lemans. The front seats look odd without a pattern.
