Plan on racing or showing the car?
Don't it have to be Pontiac powered if it came with a Pontiac engine to race?

I'am not real sure, but I do think all the 04-06 GTO's had what we call a pontiac motor.
So therefor I put a pontiac motor in a pontiac car. It dose say GTO on top of the motor. Buuuuuttt hey I may be wrong.

I dont know about that-but it would have to be together and running. Would make for better E.T.s

You would still at least need tires on it-chassis with no wheels dont move too easy!

Good Question! We had a member of Little Indians contact Tri-Power Promotions to get the rules, see below:

To race, the rules are somewhat different. Any “Pontiac Bodied” cars may have a stock or modified drivetrain of any make, and if you have a non-Pontiac bodied car, it may still race if it has a Pontiac engine, but non-Pontiac bodied cars can’t come to the show field. You will be assigned a class in which you will race.
If you are racing, you will be expected to stay on the race side of the track until you are done for the day. At that point you are welcome to drive over to the show field and park in our display area.

Since this car has an 06 GTO motor, its considered a Pontiac motor, not an issue.

Gary

Now were getting somewhere>>>>>>>>>>
Motor in for the last time, rear end in for last time, front end in for last time.
Next step: plumb it and wire it then paint.
