Default 63 disc brakes

Anyone have a source for the fronts. Scarebird doesn't make them anymore.

We will make you a deal; we have enough bearing spacers to build 10 more sets.

We need more of the other pieces but can order those from the cutters.

If you get 4 others (5 sets total) to go in, we will order the stuff to complete these kits.

Hopefully you can get the orders from this post, otherwise I don't know anybody else that needs one. I already have your earlier version in my other 63 and they work great.

Or.....throw down for the 5 sets and sell off the other 4 over time. I would think within a few years you’d find others banging on your door for those last 4 sets.

Might be your last chance to get a kit for this obscure application.

Just a thought.

A little rough for a reply! Only trying to add my enthusiasm for those great brakes additions. Hope you can get a set ... disc brakes, Fairmont?, MC and a Ford 9" rear makes for a great car. Also you spelled apparently wrong!

Sorry, you got me there. Having trouble getting parts makes me a little edgy. Someone suggested Bens auto parts so might check them out.

There's always Wilwood but I don't think they will work with stock wheels. I have them on my 63 and 61. Made my own brackets and then there a bolt on.

I had the Wilwood kit like Tom mentioned on my 63 (just like the White Warrior). I copied a lot from Tom’s car. I think I got the brackets from 63longtop. They were quite simple. Nothing more than a flat piece of steel.

I vaguely remember Rick Johnson (or someone similar) doing a technical article regarding the brake conversion. I think the article actually had blueprints of the brackets needed for the conversion. Does anyone else remember this? Am I crazy? lol! Maybe on the little Indians website?

If anyone has the blueprints please let me know. I’d like a copy so I can make some brackets if I ever build another 63.
