Default Rally II Wheel Color/Finish (rear)

Trying to determine the factory correct color/finish used on the rear of Rally II wheels. At least for '67-'69, examples I've found appear to be a grey with green, black tint. Semi gloss finish.

Definitely not plain light grey.

Appreciate any paint type, formula to achieve this.

Thanks!

That's what I use when refinishing Rally II wheels.

So many color variations in R2's, even within the same model year.

Looks like you have a pretty clean sample wheel. Just take the wheel to an automotive paint store that has a photometric eye, and they should be able to mix something for you that matches it.

Took a Picture of the one I use I got it way back at a swap meet to use for reference. It’s a grayish green color with the over spray at the openings. But as already said I’m sure it was done differently with different paint shops.

To get the correct greenish grey, it's best to have a paint store custom match it, as nothing on the market does.

I just got finished spraying my five JL code 14 x x6 Rally II's with Rustoleum Light Machine Gray. 2 cans did all five inner and back.
After I spray the Argent Silver on the front, how long should I wait before masking for the Gray? And, after spraying the gray, how long before removing the masking?

Must be dead on for another sample, obviously not the green-grey shown and mentioned.
