Post Interior Help

You folks are going to think this is a crazy question, but I'm at the end of my rope. About a year ago I deceided to replace the carpet in my 68 GTO. So I stripped out the bucket seats,seatbelts,sillplates,,4-speed shifte, console and ordered carpet from Ames. About a week after I did all this I was in a serious motorcycle accident and broke my femur bone/hip.I an just getting to be ablea walk a very little with crutches, but no way am I ready to try to install everthing I removed. I live in upstate South Carolina in the Clemson/Anderson area. Does anybody know of someone in this area that would come by my shop and reinstall these parts? I am willing to pay very well. I have searched this area with no luck. thanks, Mike

Perhaps an upholstery shop if you could trailer it to them?
I'm sure that you really want to get it done, as I would, but are you going to be able to drive that four speed if somebody did it anytime soon?

Thanks 4dbinklude. I wish you were closer also, but thanks for the offer. Mike

Greg, I have been able to drive it around the yard and I did ok.All ofmy injures are are on my right side and leg, so I have no problem mashing the gas. If I were to sell it, I would have to have the interior back in it. I don't think I'm going to put the console back in. About a two years ago I ordered a complete driver seat rebuild kit from Ames. New springs and, foam, brackets and many small items The shop that did the seat is out of business now. I think you for answering and if you come with any ideas, please let me know. Mike
