Dark sandlewood carpet
70 GTO has Atoll blue exterior with sandlewood (257) interior. I ordered samples from Ames and didn't match quite to the carpet. I pulled the door sill plate and the original carpet is very nice, but no match.
From what I could find, sandlewood should have dark sandlewood carpet. Can anyone direct me where to buy it? I'll post pics of the samples and the piece I cut from the original. Thanks

The triangle shaped piece is original, a shade darker. The light one is #19 sandalwood, the darker one is #32 dark gold (perhaps the closest but seems to have some green to it) the other which is too dark is #12 dark saddle which is incorrect. I also placed the #694G legendary sandalwood vinyl for reference against the edging.
I went to ACC's site but I still don't find the correct color. Any help is appreciated

My RAIV Atoll / Sandlewood has the carpet that is more Gold.. I bought my new set from ACC about 8 years ago. They had several samples and i took an original section from under the sill plate and it matched perfectly. Just mentioning because my original carpet was more on the "Gold" side and not really dark Sandlewood.

I have more samples on the way. ACC was pretty helpful, fingers crossed. It was in a post elsewhere I read that the factory used "dark sandalwood " carpet in cars with 257 interior. While the 32 sample is close, it's still off.

Brings up another question regarding floormats. This car came with them, dies anyone reproduce the beige/brown Pontiac rubber mats?

Thanks for the replies. After receiving a few different samples (probably all made by ACC) dark gold does seem to be the winner. Legendary has colors on floor mats. I assume best to stay with dark gold on the mats too.

In the event no one has seen this before. Upon removing the original carpet, the manufacturer's tag was still on the backside.
Allen Industries Dark Sandalwood Pretty cool
