Default 66 GTO neutral safety switch

Swapped out ST300 for TH350. Does the stock neutral safety switch still work? Planning on getting the Ames 65-69 M156E
Thanks

The shift pattern is the same for park/neutral/reverse so give it a try. If it doesn't work then change it,

I did the same swap in my '67 Cutlass and everything worked without any big changes. (Took me 25 years to hook up the kickdown cable, though!)

OE style switch works fine. We went to a 200-4R and utilized a ShiftWorks conversion kit.
