Default 1st design or 2nd design how do I know which wiper motor?

when I got my car there were several things missing and the windshield wiper motor/pump was one of them and I was looking at getting a new one but I see there are 2 different ones ...... since mine was already MIA is there a way to tell which one my car originally had ?

well I honestly do not know how to tell but after reading farther down on another thread it says that if the drivers side wiper arm has the second linkage on it then it is indeed the parking/hidden wipers and mine does have the wiper arm with the second linkage .... so then according to that I need the wiper motor with the round can is that correct? (this car was stripped down for a restoration 10+ years ago and nothing is on the body itself) and that is why I'm here begging information from you guys/gals that do know.

Yes, the round motor, but make sure it's an A body motor. B body motors are slightly longer.
68 / 69 models with the round motor also used a firewall adapter plate.

Concealed wipers were standard on all 69 Pontiacs (all fullsized, LeMans and GTO and GP) except the 69 Firebird (where it was not offered) and the Tempest and Custom S (where it was optional).
