I'm installing new body mounts in my 66 ans ran into a couple of problems. The mounting position just behind the passenger rear wheel was rotted out and I'm in the process of installing the new body brace. However I get to the rear most body bolt and it just spins. It seems that there is a nut between two body panels and there is no easy access to that nut. Any ideas?

Been there, for several body bolts. Yes there is a square nut in the body braces, held captive by a bracket. Once it breaks free of the bracket, it will spin. You need to cut an access hole into the body to access and grab the nut. In one of my GTOs, for the rearmost bolts, I cut a rectangular slot into the rear of the rear body brace (behind the bumper) big enough to get an open end wrench in there. For other bolts, a hole saw from the top can work too. Good luck.

Well the hole saw was the way to go. I used a 3" holesaw and will use the cutout as the patch when I'm done.
