This Camaro site has a breakdown of the axle plants. I think it applies to our cars too:

It would be interesting to compare the axle dates to the body shell dates (trim tag) and invoice ship date across a range of cars. My car's body is dated 04C and the axle date 0415 is very close.

I guess you'd figure axle deliveries come in, inventory jumps up, dates are close... inventory is depleted, dates grow apart.

These are my dates for my formula
Assembly date 1st week of March
Engine yz 0a07
Heads #12 0a28
Exhuast ra3 0b23
Intake stock 0b18
Distributor 2009 9g09
Water pump 9799124 0a28
Alternator service replacement open face finned blank 65 Amp or 903 0f13 or 0e18 not sure yet
Starter 1108436 9k13
Carb 7040270 057
Transmission pq date unknown
12 bolt 331 cou 0115 or cos 0323
Car shipped 3rd week of March.
Is this correct ? Lol took almost 3 years not easy
Im.not sure what correct date spreads are

My 70 formula has about the same date spread as yours. Body-05A, Axle-0423, Actual invoice date 5/11

That's good to know . Im.alway wanting to learn about this car and I have made mistakes over the 42 years of owning it. As of 2.5 years ago I was clueless on date codes and tried to see if I could do it. I.got this far with my little understanding of codes. Thanks for sharing with me you spread it seems yours is a little closer to assembly date than mine. Im.not making a concourse car just a good weekend driver bone stock old muscle car.
