Good suggestion on different alternator, and yes Schurkey it is the original 10DN style. I understand about the testing procedure for diagnosis but at this point due to physical constraints I am once again sentenced to a shop, hopefully next week. Will report on the remedy. Thanks all for stayinginvolved
