Default Painters Opinions

The paint on my car is 35 years old and it still looks awesome from two feet away. However, over the last few years I am getting a lot more tiny chips because it has become very brittle and thin in places. I have owned the car for 22 years and I do drive it a lot. Never in wet weather.
I am thinking about having it painted, and want it done in single stage paint.
It was painted with Martin Senour acrylic enamel (from NAPA) in 1988.
What is the best single stage paint available in your opinion today.

Thanks, Dave

Your going to get dozens of answers of all brands. Painters get to know and usually stick with one brand. I've used PPG (previously Ditzler) products for just over 50 years. I have also tried other brands on small jobs just to see if something works better. I always return to PPG. The Deltron and Vibrance lines are my picks. Deltron DCC single stage is very good IMO and durable. Product choice is sometimes determined by your local availability.

PPG Delfleet Essential. Painted my Burban in 2017 and pert near 50k miles later it still looks good. It's a working truck that doesn't live in a garage. Hauling some 16' 2x8s in the photo.
