Girls? I want the headers!!!! ahaha

Too bad you're not closer, I'd definitely help you out on a set of headers. If you can weld and you have lots of patience, it's not that hard.

Keep me in mind if you want to sell those headers

EBay the headers. Chalk it up to learning.

Get yourself either an inexpensive pair of 67-69 Firebird 4-tube headers from Hedman (PY used to sell them for $59.95) and modify a couple of tubes, or a pair of the "long branch" 67-69 Firebird cast iron manifolds.

Mad Dog also makes excellent headers for your exact application:

NO PH, To busy with work and deer hunting. I need someone who is handy like you to come over and give me a hand pulling the front sheet metal off and spending a half day helping me.I would love to have some good help from some other competent car guy that we could trade half days of helping each other three or four times a year, I have the tools and space, just need a swift kick in the ass to get going !!

Deer hunting this time of the year? Where?

Yeah, good car buddies are hard to find. Most of my friends with old cars would rather get drunk than help me. I got one guy that helps me out a lot. Somethings you just can't do by yourself and most things are just 500 times easier if you have a friend.

If you were closer I'd be down to help you out anytime, as long as you provide the RC cola haha

Default california national forest!!!

Our deer season for rifle starts the second week in August and goes through the 20th of Sept. I have been hunting the same piece of national forest (open to the public) for 41 years in a row!! Same straight up and down, fly infested, overgrown with poison oak and brush, hotter than all get-out, by myself and wouldn't have it any other way. It's no wonder that I have the same nasty old canyon to myself year after year, nobody else is that into that kind of self inflicted torture :>)- I do kill my two bucks every year!! I go to Colorado in Oct. elk hunting with the same guys every year in Montrose, 10,500 ft, so getting my mountian legs ready in Cali every year really helps, hunting is the only real exercise I really get. I haven't killed a buck this year yet, I haven't even seen one yet!! Only two weeks left!!

WTF! Ours starts first saturday in November I'm not sure when it ends.

That's crazy, it's too damn hot here now. The deer aren't out that much. I shot my first buck on my 9th birthday on opening day Nov 4th 1995??? I guess. I shot 2 more and then I kind of started to feel bad. My dad shoots his limit every year so we had more meet than we could handle. haha

I just bird hunt now
