Would someone be interested in showing me a picture of the location in which the rear end code is, for a pontiac end.
Know its there but can't locate it.

On my GTO it is located on the rear of the axle housing on the left side close to where the brake line clip is. You will probably have to wire brush the housing to get it to be visible. Once you locate it you can use soapstone to rub across it then wipe off the excess to leave the letters "highlighted".
