Looking for 4 or 5 fullsize rally 2 wheels. 5 on 5", to clear a 3" hub.
I understand KD code should fit.

Sorry, I should have mentioned 15", I'm wanting these for a 1966 bonneville. 15",
5 on 5", 3" hub.
4 1/4" to 4 1/2" backspacing. (I understand KD code should have 4 1/2" backspacing.)

I'll check in Mon. night.
Thanks.

sounds like it. 4 1/4" backspace is what my 14" steel rims are. It seems the tire is closer to the outside than the inside on this car but that was factory.
Are there any other number markings? Are they 15 x 7's, 15 x 6's? (measured between beads?) (not out to out)
Also can you send some pictures?

I am not expecting all this tonight. I know what time it is there. I used to live in that area.

Any and all info you can give is much appreciated.
Thanks

Hello.
From what I learned, your wheels appear to be from a mid-sized car. It sounds like they would fit. Do you have trim rings and center caps to go with them?
Right now I'm leaning towards not buying them because I am looking for a 15 x 7 big car rally wheel. I think a 4 1/2" backspace would be better for me because it is a fender skirt car and my steel wheels with 4 1/4" backspace is quite close to the skirt. On the other hand, 15 x 6 rallys would be an improvement over the 14" steels. Let me know what is or isn't included.

Thank you.

I was asking questions (mostly on this site), trying to understand which codes related to which years, backspacing, bolt pattern, ect.. -to make sure I chose the right wheels for my application and to avoid the wrong ones, re-shipping, ect.. I still am unclear if there is any rhyme or reason to the codes. I was told that one quick and easy way to tell is that the big car rallys have no notches at the center cap hub and the intermediate car wheels have the 3 notches. Also told all big car wheels from 71 - 76 have 4 1/2" backspacing.
Since then I have looked at several sets (yours included) from big cars and they all have the 3 notches. Now I am just as confused as I was before I started researching wheels. I do appologize to you 72pontiac for my lack of knowledge on this. If you or anyone can enlighten me on big car rallys, I will be very grateful.

i tried to sell to a '72 grand prix owner only to find out it had a 4 3/4 bolt circle which leaves me to believe that even a big car like grand prix must be mid size making me believe the 5" bolt circle were from truely 'big' cars. i know little to nothing about it thats why i asked you what mid size cars you thought 5" would fit. no need to apploligize.

This is all new to me because I don't know too much about Pontiacs. I ran into the wrong wheels before for my 64 Riviera and I ended up keeping them because of the hassle and the cost of shipping. (lucky it was only 2) -(so out of a set of 5 I have 3 useable ones) I have not bought any rally 2's yet. I am still in the market but somewhat on hold for now due to unexpected doctor bills. I will let everyone involved know one way or the other. Thanks

I believe I am correct saying that #1 you need 68 69 70 full size rallys which only come in 15x6. A later year like 71 72 went to 4 3/4 inch lug pattern both in full size and grand prix"s but will not fit your car. I will try to find you the correct codes of the wheels you need. Do not buy anything newer than 1970 and only for a full size car with a 5x5 bolt pattern.

I dont know about the center cap. So as not to put you off I went out and got a code off one of my wheels on the 65 . It is KY there are other codes not too many though. Cant find my list or I would give you more. Just remember the 70 or before wheels for full size. If in doubt you can give me a code and I will check to see if it fits a GTO. I have that list and if it fits a GTO it wont fit yours. If they are a 71 or later they wont fit either.
