Default Pontiac Motor For Sale

1968 Pontiac 400 YC motor. This was pulled a few years ago and was running when pulled, I replaced with the motor in my signature. This motor was my pride and joy and has great power. Motor has 3.75 stroke arma steel crank, polished 58-62 forged rods, trw 30 over pistons, total seal gapless rings, clevite bearings, crane cam flat hydraulic 495/510 lift, 1968 #16 heads, have been ported and bowled flowed 250 at 600 lift, misplaced sheet, crane springs to match cam, stamp steel 1.65 rockers, polished torker 1 intake, R.A.R.E. 1967 Pontiac HO cast iron headers, chrome tall baffled valve covers, timing cover, water pump, pulleys, dist w/ accel hi-po points, condensor, cap & rotor and accel yellow superstock wires, Accel 300+ Digital Ignition (box, coil and harness). Motor should be gone over because of sitting, stored in climate controlled garage since pulled. $1500.00 pick up only.

Motor is still together with oil in the pan, can take pics of motor and top end, don't have hoist right now to pull pan to take pics of bottom end. I can email pics, but will try to get some pics up this weekend.

If you have any questions about the motor, please feel free to ask.

Thanks,
Mark

Steve,

motor was originally out of an auto 68 bonny. I got the motor out of the 68 bonny from a junkyard, all I needed was the block, had everything else to build.

auto flexplate, fuel pump also included.

cr should be at 10.75:1, trw pistons are the 4 eyebrow type, heads were only shaved .010 when I had them done so the chamber should be mid to low 70 cc's.

Heads are dated '67 so they are early #16's, ARP head bolts were used and ARP flexplate bolts are included.

Here are some pics:

Let me know,
Thanks,
Mark

I can vouch for Mark on the 'stored in climate controlled garage' part.

The motor running in the youtube vid is my new motor (the one in the sig).

The motor I have for sale was the motor I pulled when the new motor was ready to drop in.

Thanks for the compliment,
Mark

ship it mark. ive done it before its not that much of a hassle. you have to pallet it. then its best to have it at a location with a commercial dock for the truck to load. or they will have to come with a pallet jack and a lift gate. buyer pays the bill of lading...done deal. FYI
