Default 63 GP throttle linkage?

is there a bracket that the side towards the passenger side of the linkage goes into to keep it in position on the outside of the firewall or block? thanks

I think the plate/bracket bolts on 2 stud bolts on the left rear of the intake manifold. I have one for a 65-66 car but it's different, although similar. Do you need that part?

Here are two pictures of the bracket. It is the same regardless of trans and bolts on with the rear two driver's side intake bolts as mgarblik said.. It is the bracket pfilean's pictured in his post.

A cable set-up may be safer and much simpler in a modified situation. The factory linkage those years have allot of rods, bind and pinch points. Unless using solid engine mounts or some kind of restraint, I would be concerned about binding or throttle sticking in a high HP engine on rubber mounts. Good luck with it.
