Default 1960 315 trans

I lost my trans this week, can anyone suggest a reputable company that can sell me a rebuilt 1960 315 jetaway with a good warranty? I was going to try it myself, but all my hard parts are trash!
Thanks guys

Hello stevep, Tell me about 60 only! I need to know its condition, mileage, does it have a bellhousing and converter, what it would take to ship, then what you want for it. I see your in Mass. I located one in Atlanta so the distance is reasonably close to the same. Pictures please.
Thanks for the come back. P/M if you like.

I can rebuild you one if I have a core. I presently do not have a good used transmission for a 60. Cores are available. Shipping would be a killer.
In 1961, the bell housing and other things changed. In 1959, the case was larger.

Yo Steve.
Thats what I found, 60 was different. What would be your price with my core? I was told by my rebuilder, my generation, who has rebuilt 60 315's, that all my hard parts were trashed and replacing all of them would be a mind blower! The bell housing , torque converter and case are good.
Think on it and P/M me.

My price is based on the condition of your core. I may be able to find a decent rebuildable core around here for around $400.00

A master kit is around $350, whats your labor? Then the shipping? I will look for a weight. The one in Atlanta is bench checked for operation, gives me 90 day warranty and shipping is free.
Keep thinking!
