Default Ram Air Manifolds and IAII block

Would like to know if anyone has had any issues using Ram Air exhaust manifolds with aluminum head on a IAII block? Mine seam to touch the block and wondering if it might cause some of my overheating.

I have a friend who planned to run those on an aluminum block, but if I remember correctly, there was interference with the freeze plugs. He ground them down, but still ended up going with headers.

Same issue here with the super long branch round port manifolds. I ended up using a pair of round port header flanges as spacers. Got them new off Ebay years ago.

I had to dent my headers for the freeze plug on my IA iron block driver's side.

You can angle mill The Long Branch manifolds so that when they bolt on the angle away from the block slightly but other than that I don't know what you would do besides other clearancing
