Default Wtb super duty scoop, vfn or steel

Hi, looking to see whats out there. Mostly would prefer the vfn large or tall version if available. Or possible metal one if the price is right

I like the shape of that one much better than the VFN tall. Here is a YouTube video showing it from the side; https://youtu.be/7LIDKp29cqU

Thanks

Way back when in the early 60s I got my SD scoop for my 55 Pontiac from my local dealer. Think it was about 5.00 back in 1964.

IMO, without the ribs in the outer profile, the TA Performance scoop doesn't look specifically like the Ford truck scoop/Pontiac SD scoop at all. Looks like a nice fiberglass piece, but not the SD scoop. The VFN scoop has the ribs and is much closer to the "correct look" in stock height. As they made different versions of it, bigger and taller, some of the look gets lost of course.

Problem is VFN says 14 weeks out to make one. I can always switch out later, besides a fiberglass may look ok if i ever paint my car , but will not look well on my rusty patina hood.
