Question Distributor position 180 dgr.

Am I right in thinking that it doesn't matter if the position of the distributor is on zero or 180 degrees.
As long as you connect the spark plug wires accordingly ?

Just curious.

You can have it work, but itīs just a mess having #1 wire at #6 location and having #5 and #7 wires on passenger side.
Easy enough to locate the distributor correctly.
