1st design has a plate welded over the balljoint area. These were replaced in a service bulletin with the 66 up units.

I need one lower (left) for sure. Someone welded both bushing sleeves to it. The other appears OK, but I'll look closer. One upper (left also) is a little beat up. My questions are, how "clean" are yours and how much? BTW, what's a 65 Star Chief look like? Thank you

Thanks. I didn't know the Star Chief went past the 1960 year model. And the only Star Chief in 1960 that I've ever saw was a 4 door, or a post model, where as the Star Chief was attached to more deluxe/fancier equipped cars before 1960

If you look, I think I'll need both lowers and the driver's upper. If you find them, please see if there's witness marks of prior bushing change, as an amateur attempt can ruin the bushing holes. Thank you

The Star Chief was released as a top of the line model in 1954 ad remained ther until the Bonneville came out in '57. From '57 to '66 it remained the second highest model in the Pontiac line up. Was superceeded by the Executive.
