Does anyone know the correct finish (paint or plating) for 68 mounting brackets and 4 piston disc brake calipers? I know the brackets for 69 & up single piston type were gold cad plated, but have never officially seen what's correct for 67-68 brackets for 4 piston type calipers. How about the calipers themselves, were they painted black, gray phosphate or left natural cast finish? I've posted this question in a couple of other sections of the forum with minimal response. Anybody here got the definitive answers?
