Are there any other G/P fans out there, or do we know so much that we don't have any questions or comments? If there are others where are you located and what do you have. mike

Yep, Mike there are some other GP fans out there, but apparently we are just not very vocal most of the time, or most of our questions are not GP specific. You know, just the normal Poncho related performance questions, etc. I pay close attention to what is happening on the Performance section of this board, but I don't see a whole lot of activity in many of the other areas.

Later,

K.

There are a lot of fans out there, they just don't know they are. They must be fans since they keep taking our 428's and dropping them into other models.

joegio, around here those people aren't fans they're cabbagers that can't appreciate comfort with their speed. mike

I race a 76 GP--thats right--a long nose beastie. I sure get a lot of double-takes at the strip. I call my car the Flying Piglet, not to be confused with a Flying Toilet. Last weekend I ran 11.65 at 114+ at 4600 ft in altitude. People keep asking me if I am running a BB Chevy. I reply "now why would I ruin a perfectly good 76 GP by pounding a Rat in it. Keep the Traditional alive!

Mike, honestly my car has been lightened up considerably. Except for the console, door panels, dash and the tilt column, most of the original car is in boxes. The car is back-halfed with a 4 linked 9 inch and a 10 point moly cage. I had a glass hood molded and that was worth about a ton of weight loss. Race weight is 3550 lbs. Thanks for your interest Mike--keep the Traditional! Eddy.
