Well, I posted a link to this thread for another PYer who is about to start on his 66 and since I am here I thought I would give Y'all a little update. In August of 2014 I was involved in an automobile accident while driving the work truck (O'Reilly Auto Parts). I was hit by a distracted driver as I was coming out of an s curve. The other car hit mine diagonally right behind the drivers door, went under my truck, knocked the rear end out and flipped me up in the air. I spun around and landed on the drivers side pointing back in the direction I was coming from. How fast was I running? Would you believe I doing 25mph! I don't know how fast the car that hit me was going because I was knocked out on initial impact. To make a long story a little shorter I continued to work while receiving treatment for cervical and lumbar injuries. I had my neck fused on two levels and decided against lower back surgery because of the long recovery time and low percentage of it being a successful operation. I finally left my job the 6th of February and look forward to enjoying my free time.
I said there would not be another project and there isn't another one. There are two! A 50 Pontiac two door fastback and a 39 Pontiac four door sedan that my wife wants.
But, they will be done on a very tight budget. If I cn't do it it won't get done.
