What are the rarest options for the 68-69 model years?

Ahh, my favorite topic! You guys hit some rare ones, the inside hood release especially. Some other real rare options are power flow ventilation, tissue dispenser, locking gas cap, heavy ribbed rubber trunk mat, instant aire pump and the rear seat shoulder belts, not the front. I think those are ultra rare from what I have been told and researched. If all goes well this summer I will be installing a set of the rear ones.

Marauder,

I don't recall them ever offering a passenger side remote mirror, just driver. I also looked at my 1969 ordering guides, didn't see it there either. It was available from the factory or dealer installed too.

These were neat and came out in 1970, kinda high tech for the day and only available on hardtops. When I finish my measurements and test fit what I have I will fill you in more on the rear shoulder belts too.

what about that option that replaced the A/C. It was a switch that controlled little fans inside the A/C vents. the car would not have A/C though it appeared like it did form the interior, but it didn't, instead it had small fans. I think that is so neat! I think it was used on Ram Air II's and IV's. Anyone got a car with that option or know more abotu it?
