BW 4speed tooth count combos.....
I didnt see a trans specific heading in the tech forums column......so, I have accumulated a "pile" of ST-10 stuff.......mostly broken. I have 4 sets of driven gears, two good input shafts & one good cluster, one case iron main case, 3 aluminum ones & one good tail-housing. One input has 3 rings, the other 2. I have determined that all the driven gears that I have are the same tooth counts.
Now, the question; the good cluster I have has 27 teeth on the front...........the input gears are 20 & 21...... Are either of these correct for the 27 count cluster??? PJH |

The two ring input shaft should work with your cluster gear. The input should have 21 teeth.

Disaster struck when I examined the condition of the parts I planned to use.......the 21 tooth input was run without oil.....only good for clutch alignment tool now.!!!!
Where does one buy replacement BW gears.??? Back to planning stage......... PJH |

Here is a chart I found that may be usefull.
I just rebuilt my ST-10. I read Pauls book as well as watched all his Muncie and ST-10 videos on youtube "Gearboxvideo". After everything I learned, it was a piece of cake.
