Default 20" mufflers in 66 A body?

Helping a friend with new exhuast system in his 66. I am somewhat partial to the DynoMax super turbo and Ultraflow, but leaning towards turbo for this car. Do the 20" case mufflers fit ok under the 66? I used 14" in my old 66, but do not recall how much room I had...

Plan is to install the larger RA iron manifolds, buy a muffler delete exhaust kit from Pypes or flow master (FM offers one with an H pipe), then bring to local shop and have them install.

Or, if anyone can provide good reviews on the Pypes Turbo Muffler, that could simplify sourcing all the parts...

Thank you!

The 17749 20” Dynomax mufflers are a nice fit.

I’ve got 20 inch on my ‘71 a body. They fit fine. 3 inch, at that.

I have the 17749 on my '64 GTO. Basically the same chassis as the '66.
