Does anyone have or know where I can get the dimensions so I can place my new emblem on my 69 "Judge" glovebox door.

Early '69 Judges didn't have a emblem on the glovebox door. They started placing them on the glovebox early to mid February. My 1970 Judge emblem is placed about 2" from the right side and about 3" from the bottom of the glovebox door.

NOS stripe kits for 70-71 Judges had a page included, showing the positioning of the stripes and the the placement of the nameplate. Maybe the 1969 stripe kits did also.

On a related topic, I read where the original'70 emblems were actually decals ( ie: stickers), while 69 used emblems that were glued on. I can't confirm and would be interested if owners of unmolested 69 and 70 Judges can comment. My 70 Judge was restored and has the reproduction emblems stuck on.

Original "Judge" glove box emblem was a cloisone(sp)...(d#mn french) emblem affair with three studs on the back that went through holes in the face of the glove box & were retained with clips. To remove, one has to drill out the rivets holding the steel inner glove box from the textured plastic front & separate. These alum rivets were black on the '69 Judge glovebox lids I've owned.

Back in the '70's & 80's a lot of these original emblems were destroyed by fools with screwdrivers trying to pry them off the face of the glovebox. Have run across prob a dozen such chipped emblems over the years

Have owned quite a few '69-70 original glove box lids with original Judge emblems (& Judges) over the years, & have noticed no differences in these emblem's construction
