Hey Guys
Time for some updates! After a slow start and a few mis steps on my part early on as many know I turned over this project to "The Man" Scott Tiemann of Supercar Specialities. With his crew this car is going to set "The Mark" for 1969 Trans Am's!! This car...Dan Jensen built XN code Ram Air IV, Brian Stefina built PQ turbo 400 & 3:90 geared... I am so excited about the progress and how this piece of PMD history is coming together. I will start the up date post with early pics. and until you all get sick of seeing them(Scott sends lots) I will get you all up to date. |

It amazes me at how such a rare & important piece of Pontiac history survived so intact!
Thanks for the update, keep them coming, we never get tired of car porn pics.

I'll throw my hat in the ring towards this statement! Nothing like a friendly competition.

The car has had at least (1) rear collision that damaged both 1/4's and the tail panel. Could have fixed it but.......so replaced both left & right 1/4 and tail panel..VERY VERY hard to find NOS parts but I found the quarters and the tail panel NOS

You'll want to park it on a lift when it's done, just so you can see all the fine details! Diff looks like it's been blueprinted and the axles even trued on the machine surfaces etc.

The floor pan wasn't that bad and really pretty good thanks to being in California nearly all its live....the usual surface rust under the carpet except rust "pin holes" in the right frt.
