I see in a couple catalogs and the GTO Restoration Guide that Pontiac offered a "Frame-to-Body Mount Bushing Supplement", which appears to be two additional bushings (one upper/lower set for each side of the car) which supplement the 14 that are standard + core support mounts. The OPG catalog says: "Some GTO, Tempest, and Le Mans were originally equipped with additional bushings depending on added options and engines size. Most vehicles with larger engines require this supplement." It also says: "The hardware (bolts, washers, nuts, etc.) are optional". I have a 400 out of a '67 GTO in my '64 so I probably can use these - Does anybody know where they should be located? I've seen post where people who replaced thier mounts found some that had no bolts, just the rubber biscuits, and I'm guessing these were "supplemental bushings" w/o the optional; hardware....? Appreciate advice - Jon

I don't recall seeing any 'extra' bushing holes on my frame when I did my frame off. There has to be a hole so that the bushings can be held.

Sounds to me like the hockey-puck bushings...no bolt.
