A good actor, but I can't say I have any sympathy for someone who died with a needle stuck in their arm.

Hoffman is another example of WHY you NEVER fool around with drugs. 22 yrs. on the wagon and he STILL died a junkie.

"Awwww... come on and just try it this one time". Peer pressure some can't walk away from, and it eventually take em down.

Man he was in a ton of films.

Boogie nights and twister come to mind pretty quick.

All the more reason to sat away from what killed him.

Addiction is a deep, deep river.

I am sad for his children more than anything. Prayers to them.
I did enjoy his part in Scent of a Woman, although it was a small part.

People need to stop looking up to Hollywood types, they put their pants on the same way as all of us and usually are thay more screwed up then most of us.

They walk on the Red Carpet and start dishing out advice on life, politics, etc.
They are out of touch with OUR reality.

It puzzles me why the authorities or media would leak out such a detail, less than 24 hours after he was discovered. Seems irresponsible to me.
They can rule out foul play that quickly?

I bet we haven't heard the whole story yet. Remember how M Jackson died of an accidental overdose, then next thing ya know, it was his doc that shot him up.

I just wonder how much of that stuf he had in his system already that just before he keeled over he couldt take the needle out of his arm. He must have been rally jacked up.

Now they confirm that they found 50 needles in this apartment and that many of the were filled with what ever drug he was taking. I cant help but wonder if it was suicide.
