Just like a Chevy from that era only they run better and longer. The IH pickups are hard to beat. Heavy as hell and pull like an elephant.

The pickups are tough as nails; I passed on buying a driving/rust free (an Arizona import) 67 or 68 Travelall with a 345/5 speed/power steering/factory air combo back in 1997 as there was a rumored layoff. I should have risked the $1,200, but with a baby on on the way -

Here are some pictures of the 49 KB-2 I built for my dad. It gets a lot of attention, and quite a few people have told us to "never paint that truck!"

I bought this 68 Travelette Campermobile in 2010. It is a real barn find from Colfax, Wa. with 47000 original miles on it and mostly original paint. 345 V8 with a 4 speed and a 4:56 Power Lock. I got a factory 5 speed overdrive out of another one we parted out that will eventually go in this one.

My dad bought this 200 Series new in 1974, it has 52000 miles on it and original paint, I have it now.

This 1927 S-24 Speed Truck belonged to my dad. It had a 4 cyl. Lycoming engine with a 3 speed trans and a 2 speed rear end "Speed Truck".

This 54 R-110 also belonged to my dad.

This 34 C-1 was mine, I bought it as is, never made it how I wanted it, sold it in 2010.

This 1974 200 Series Camper Special had 38000 original miles and original paint, it had a large camper on it since new. I sold it to George Kirkham an IH dealer in Lethbridge, Alberta. George has an incredible collection of International's, I couldn't have found a better home for this pickup. http://georgestoys.oldinternationaltrucks.ca/

I bought this Omaha Orange 1974 200 Series in 1999, it was my daily driver for 3 years. These 74's were advertised as having a wider track than any other pickup. The new for 74 independent front suspension gave these trucks a very nice ride. The Camper Special's had large front and rear sway bars, they handle very well.

This 1940 D-Series School Bus came from Ford, Wa., a friend of mine bought it in 2010.

I looked at this 1938 pickup 20+ years ago. I didn't buy and never saw it again. A friend of mine found it last year - bottom picture.

Brought this one home last Saturday:

This one is going to do much the same as the "A", since the move to the city didn't work out and we're back in the boonies again -lol.

I bought a set of headers for the Travelette from Stan's Headers in Auburn, Wa. a friend of mine suggested I install a system that Jim Hand wrote about so I did and I couldn't be happier with it. L~o~n~g 3" headpipes, 20" Dynomax Super Turbos and 2 1/2" tailpipes, sounds great and no drone at all. These were the only headers I was able to install from the top

When I bought this truck the cab was rusted bad so we parted it out. I found this picture in with all the paperwork that was included showing it in its better days,
