Default Personal loss

Something I really didn't want to be spread through Facebook or other internet social media but I have felt most of the members on this forum were like family, even if we haven't actually personally met.

I took my wife to the hospital a week ago for what I thought was a case of bronchitis. A little bit of coughing and some shortness of breath. X-rays showed much worse, red and white blood cell count were very low. She was in a catch-22 situation and passed the morning of the 5th with myself and her sister by her side.

Any thoughts and prayers, please direct them to/for our son. They were very close.

We plan on scattering her ashes along her favorite beach.

Consider prayers sent to you and family. Could you give us your sons first name so we can pray for him, thank you.

So sorry for your loss Halfway. I’m sure things are tough but remember there are a lot of people praying for you and your family. Things will get better.

Don’t mean to divert here but my wife (Lisa) also had a cough that was not clearing up. We got an XRay and they thought it was pheumonia. Cough still didn’t clear up and second XRay showed it getting larger. After a biopsy in November, she was diagnosed with stage IV lung cancer. Never smoked a day in her life, healthy lifestyle, etc. She is trying to stay strong and we are working our way through this.

Prayers go out to you and your son. Hard times will usually lead to better times. Please take care.

So sorry to hear this news.

Prayers going out to your family and friends and especially your son Justin.

Have experienced a very similar personal loss of a spouse myself just over 7 years ago due to cancer, I understand what you're going through.

Be strong.
